“Fantastic week, weather mostly great! Plenty of great walks and a lovely cottage to come back to. Thank you”
Neil Tom and Caitlin (Leics)
“Had a fantastic week a the cottage and definitely hope to return. Plenty of room for our 2 families and cottage extremely well equipped. Children loved the garden and the men loved the BBQ and patio. Due to the gorgeous weather think we had about 7 BBQs in all. Had to force ourselves inside to make use of the log fire. Have to say thank you to rob who gave us a very friendly welcome and was always on hand if you needed him. Taking the recycling regularly to save our embarrassment at the overflow!! The village of Glenridding had everything we needed, great walks manageable with young family, childrens park and of course the lake! We have eaten and drank almost everywhere in village and would recommend pizzas at the Ratchers and drinks at the Travellers Rest. We would also certainly recommend this lovely cottage to all our friends and family x

“We had a fantastic time here in the Lakes. The weather looked on us kindly after a shakey start for our sons wedding at The Inn On The Lake. Thank you for making Keldas View Cottage a homely, cosy well equipped cottage Well done!! We liked sitting in the top lounge relaxing. We will definitely be back (don’t want to go).”

“All around Keldas View Cottage, the views are simply stunning! Within you’ve anticipated and provided for your guests every need. All in all, “Simply the Best” is quite the most accurate description of the provision. See again soon Thank You.”

“We’ve had an absolutely lovely time in your cottage. Home from Home. Thank You so much.”
The Newlands Family. Whitley Bay
“Well what can we say! This cottage is a little gem which surpassed our expectations,
loved it. Weather was not to pleasant, but what the hell, it’s the Lakes. We were
so pleased we invited Barry and Lorraine over. They were also blown away, needless
to say we have all decided to come back together.”
Michael and Sharon, Tyne and Wear.
“We have been visiting the Lakes regularly for almost 20 years and have stayed in
many cottages all in the Lake District. This must be one of the nicest we have stayed
at. Love the room with a view at the top.
Glenridding has everything we want, fantastic
walks from the door, a friendly sailing club from which to hire boats, I don’t think
anywhere more beautiful to be sailing.
The weather has been perfect, over two days
we walked the Eastern side of Ullswater: from Pooley Bridge to Arthurs Pike, Bowscale
Pike to Howtown. Then from Howtown over Hallin fell and on the shore path to Patterdale
and Glenridding. Ullswater Steamers meant there was no need to get in the car. However
the Royal Oak at Dockray was worth a car journey, we enjoyed the two suppers we had
there very much. Thanks for making the cottage so comfortable. We are sad to be
leaving this morning, but this is bitter sweet; we know we will be back before long.”
